Dear Parents/Carers,

 

Next week  in maths we will be working on addition.  We will be reviewing strategies to help us add 1 and 2 digit numbers, and learning to add larger 2 digit numbers by partitioning.  ‘Hit the button’ is a good website and app the children will enjoy to help them practise their mental maths skills.  http://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button

 

Over the next few weeks the children will be researching planets and writing a report about a planet, researching any facts at home will help them with this.

 

Reading Evening

There is a ‘Teach your child to read’ information evening on Monday 30th January for Year 2 and up parents in the school hall 7-8pm.

 

Parent Appointments

These will be taking place during the week beginning Monday 13th February.  Appointments are 10 minutes each and are available before and after school.
